Installation successful but does not boot from HDD.

Motherboard: ASUS P8Z68-V Pro/GEN3 with patched EFI BIOS

I've installed OSX from here - https://kat.cr/yosemite-10-10-3-usb-bootable-intel-pcs-t10586967.html

After installation, I even got a new entry in my EFI BIOS called "Mac OS X". If I select that, it sends me back to the BIOS without doing anything. I can boot into Clover from the USB and then boot into the HDD and get to the OSX desktop. But I'm not able to boot directly from the HDD.

I tried installing Clover manually but it boots half the way and then hangs. I tried copying the EFI files from the USB to the HDD but that does not help either.

What am I doing wrong? I've never done this sort of thing before.
