I don't really know what to do here anymore, besides building a PC.
I have an 06/07 Mac Pro 1,1 that I've upgraded to Yosemite using SFOTT in the past.
Since then, I've upgraded my graphics card to a non-EFI PC Card, so I have to manually switch between Bootcamp and OSX via system prefs and Bootcamp assistant.
I've also upgraded my CPU from the dual core Xeons to the 2x Quad Core CPUs. (Not sure if this matters but it's the most recent upgrade)
After doing some updates on OSX, I restarted and for some reason it booted into Bootcamp. I haven't been able to boot back into Macintosh HD ever since.
After several weeks not being able to boot, I began using HFS explorer to access my Mac files and started using the PC side as an interim workstation until I could fix this issue.
Now Macintosh HD has disappeared entirely, I cannot see it from Bootcamp. The PC partition size is still correct so the other must be there, and I have backups so I'm not incredibly worried.
I've attempted putting my old graphics card back in and doing the standard ALT startup, I can see the partitions but I cannot boot into either OSX or Recovery
Does anybody have a clue what I might have messed up? I know I want to build a PC and I'm just waiting on securing the funds, but I'm a bit worried about the integrity of my existing Macintosh HD partition, in case any files were missed in the backup.
I'd like to be able to sell this computer with at least a stable OS.
TLDR: Macintosh HD has disappeared from my Bootcamp partition entirely. Cannot boot into Macintosh HD or Recovery.
