Hello I am using my hackintosh for video editing (based on z77mx-d3h-th) I work on events and 4 usb3 ports are often not enough. I have 3 options and many questions :
thunderbolt express dock : does it work good ? Thunderbolt drives only work when I plug them before booting. Can I plug the dock before I boot and hot-swap usb drives ?
usb3 pcie card : which one would work good with Yosemite and future OS X ? I value more stability and futureproofness over number of ports.
usb3.1 pcie card + usb3.0 hub : do you have a suggestion that works good with Yosemite and el capitan ?
