So, I was a bit afraid of posting to here, because I know you guys Criticize AMD Hackintoshes, let alone Niresh Hackintoshes, but I need some help. Just to clarify, I do already have a Successful Unibeast Hackintosh that I have created with my Friend's Mac, and I personally prefer Unibeast because it's Vanilla OS X, so if you can find a way to get this hardware on Unibeast, I will immediately Reinstall, as I only used Niresh because I couldn't get anything else working. This post is sort of going to be like a Install Log or Build Log, whichever you prefer, and i'm going to go along with my Experiences with this and change the post based on what I find works.

The issue is that there is Random Freezes across the OS and Finder will randomly Crash. I looked around the internet, and i've found this, other than making my GPU not work for about 30 mins (this was probably my fault), it did nothing to fix the random freezes.

Here's what shows up in About this Mac.

So i got the GPU to be detected and working Properly with what seems like working QE/CI, it was a major pain and required alot of trial and error. (about 5+ hours worth of changing kernel flags / replacing files)

The setup process was a major pain as Getting the 960 working in OS X with an AMD Processor meant that I had to get 10.10.3+Supplemental Update or 10.10.4 as the 960 pretty much requires that Supplemental update, and Most AMD Kernels are only available from 10.10.0-10.10.4, with no 10.10.5 working (yet ironically, i've seen people with 10.11 AMD Kernels), it provided me with a another challenge as I only had 10.10.0 & 10.10.5 .app available on hand. Figures.

-Here's my Specs:-

Niresh OS X 10.10.3 /w Clover UEFI

FX 6300

EVGA GTX 960 2GB

Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P

1x8GB Crucial Ballistix Sport XT

1TB WD Black

-Boot Flags Used:-

For Niresh's Installer:

/amd

npci=0x3000

PCIRootUID=1

USBBusFix=Yes

nv_disable=1

GraphicsEnabler=No

-v

For Unibeast & After OS X is installed, just remove /amd

Once the 10.10.3 + Supp and Nvidia Web Drivers are installed, use these flags

npci=0x3000

PCIRootUID=1

nvda_drv=1

kext-dev-mode=1

-f

-v

If you have issues with Nvidia Drivers, in OS X, after you have installed Nvidia Drivers, Go to Driver Manager settings (Its in System Preference if you can't find it) and set the Graphics Driver to "NVIDIA Web Driver". When you reboot, "nvda_drv=1" with either nothing (erase it) or put "GraphicsEnabler=No" and and keep toggling these flags until this shows up inside verbose mode, "NVDASTARTUP: Official" and Starting Web Drivers at the end, and if the monitor displays something, you have been successful, if not, keep trying.

I will keep this post up to date as I discover stuff, but since I'm posting at 3am, I probably won't respond for awhile
