I'm pretty new to the hackintosh thing, it took me days to actually get Yosemite installed on the following system:
CPU: Intel Pentium G3258
GPU: Nvidia GTX 750 Ti (Asus OC)
Mobo: Gigabyte Z97-HD3 (GA-Z97-HD3)
(and I don't think the rest is relevant here)
My problem is pretty much the same as this person's: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/295010-os-x-109-running-too-fast/
Symptoms:
-The time in the top right on the login screen progresses at about one minute per 15 seconds
-A normal key press results in many characters being entered (A results in AAAAAAAAAA)
-Animations are extremely fast
-Screen saver is extremely fast
I cannot log on to OS X, possibly because of this issue. When I type in the password and press enter it just shows the loading animation and the cursor changes to the rotating color spiral thing.
Some places I've found have said it could be a bus ratio problem. Even when I try setting the bus ratio to the value I see in my bios or by using CPUID on Windows, it still doesn't fix anything.
If it's of any significance:
-I have to use FakeCPUID = 0x010676 to avoid any kernel panics because of my CPU.
-I have read/write access to the partition with OS X and the corresponding EFI partition through Windows.
I would be most grateful if some kind souls could assist me with one or both of these issues, if they are not caused by the same thing.
