I want to get into ripping and encoding blu-rays, but I can't find the right software. I'm having the most trouble finding a program to rip blu-rays. I used MakeMKV, but I keep getting errors (could be my hardware, but I've never had a problem burning media on BDs). When it was working, it was estimating 12 hours to rip a 35GB disc, when I've read it should only take 1 - 2 hours.
For the encoding process, which program do you prefer?
Lastly, what kind of blu-ray player and version of OS X are you using?
