I want to develop iOS apps. I know you're supposed to use Xcode 7 for this, but are there other options to use that can then be transferred over to Xcode before submission to make them legitimate?
I've been trying to make a Hackintosh vm because I already own a powerful linux box and Macbooks/iMacs are expensive. Mac Mini's are severely underpowered. I love apple hardware in general, but it seems like to get what I want would cost almost $2k which is ridiculous.
Since I really only want it for Xcode, is there a different direction I should be going in rather than killing myself with this vm crap?
