I am trying to boot from a Clover USB (it's created correctly, using GPT table, it boots fine, that's not the issue) into my Yosemite install. I currently use Chimera, and want to update to El Capitan.

When I select my Yosemite install, it hangs at "root device uuid is xxxxxxxx...", the LEDs on my mouse and KB turn off, and I have to restart the computer.

I've been doing a bit of reading and have discovered that it is probably related to my config.plist file, so I downloaded Clover Configurator and set it up to the best of my knowledge following a few guides, namely this one.

When I look in EFI/Clover/kexts there is nothing in there, that sounds like it would be an issue.

Tried booting in single user mode, safe mode, using the flags nv_disable=1, nvda_drv=1, dart=0, and using WithKexts.

I'm using the MacPro3,1 SMBIOS.

Here is my config.plist file

Could anyone please shed some light on how to get this working?
