Hey all, currently I'm running a Macbook Pro 15" i7 fully loaded (2015 version) with a henge Dock. I run 2 27" thunderbolt displays and a 24" in portrait mode off of it. The dock is quite a bit finicky and I can't push a third Thunderbolt display off it. So looking at going back to a desktop. Ideally I'd like to run 3 4K resolution monitors at a working space equal to current 2560x1440 monitors. These monitors would probably be the monoprice ones. Triple monitors are a must, Apple OSx is a must. The rest is up for debate. Have looked at the Mac Pro the iMac 5K and am now exploring a Hackintosh or EGPU. If I went the Hackintosh route I'd want a high performing build with current hardware. Stability is a must. Hours per month tweaking with a build to keep it running isn't feasible. This is a tool for me. As for use case I run a technology company. Lots of developer tools, virtual machines, multi tasking and multi work spaces. The fan on the MacbookPro runs pretty constant from the load I put on it. EPGU is another option I just read about that should enable me to run triple monitors on the MacBook Pro. Recommendations?
