So recently I have been looking into a new computer. The Precision 5510 looked awesome and I was wondering if it's hackintoshable while configured with the Xeon. I also want to do video work and seeing the thunderbolt I was wondering if I could use an eGPU with it and if anyone has done it before. The other option would be an older mac book pro for my day to day and a full blown mid-end desktop. I would be working with 4k and 5k footage with 6.5k in the near future. I grade and edit. I know I can edit proxies to speed up everything. What's your advice?
