I'm having issues booting Windows 10 from Clover. Below was my procedure:

  • Installed El Capitan first following the UniBeat guide to the letter

  • Downloaded Windows 10 ISO files from this page.

  • This is where things got weird: after downloading the ISO, I could not create a bootable USB after extracting the files and dragging them onto the USB (I made sure the USB was 8GB+, formatted to MS-DOS FAT). I kept running into the error below:

The Finder can't complete the operation because some data in "nlscoremig.dll" can't be read or written (Error code -36)

  • Found this post on Apple's forums in which someone was encountering the same issue:. The thread suggested using Boot Camp Assistant to create a bootable USB from the ISO files.

  • Successfully created a bootable Windows 10 USB with Boot Camp Assistant (did not encounter the aforementioned error)

  • Installed Windows 10 successfully on a separate hard drive

Currently, Clover detects the Windows 10 installation, but I cannot boot into it using Clover. Here is what I see.

The only work-around I currently have to boot to Windows 10 is to mash F12 on startup to access the Boot Menu and select Windows Boot Manager. This is what I see.

This work around is stable, but not ideal. Any clue what went wrong? Help is appreciated.

Thanks
