I'm sure I'm doing something wrong, but I'm really not sure what. I had the same issue with 10.10 which I detailed in this thread, but ended up running a clean install over modified kexts which I didn't keep backups of and managed to get it working.
That being said, I've now opened up a new thread because I'm having the same issue with 10.11.
So far, I've installed the BrcmPatchRAM2
and BrcmFirmwareRepo
kexts to /System/Library/Extensions, as well as a modified IOBluetoothFamily
kext which is supposed to also work with El Capitan (not before making a backup of the original this time), all using KextBeast. It appears that El Capitan has removed the Repair Permissions menu from Disk Utility, so I don't know if maybe I need to find a way to do that.
Any help would be appreciated. I'd love to be able to use my Magic Mouse again.
