I've been testing my setup's NVRAM based on u/TheRacerMaster's guide using sudo nvram MyVar=Test etc but am unable to get a custom test variable to persist on rebooting.
I originally had Clover installed with OsxAptioFixDrv and RC scripts, so I deleted my Clover install from my EFI partition and the RC scripts from my /etc and /Library folders. Then I reinstalled Clover without the RC scripts and using OsxAptioFixDrv2, but the problem still persists.
I'm using a Gigabyte GA-B150-D3H board which has UEFI, so I'm not sure why NVRAM isn't working. Is there something I'm missing? Or do I have to resort to emulated UEFI and hope that works? Thanks!
