How to use windows 7 disk as a Fusion 8 VM on 10.11?

I want to achieve the exact same as this:

I've installed OSX on SSD, and Windows 7 on another hard drive. I can boot into both perfectly.

Now I want to be able to use my windows install as a VM with Fusion 8. I can't seem to figure out how though. Fusion offers :

• Install from a disk or image

• Import an existing PC

• Install OSX from recovery partition

• Import an existing virtual machine

• Install from bootcamp

• Create a custom virtual machine

• Create a virtual machine on a remote server

None of these seem to do what I need. "Install from bootcamp" would work if I had a real mac and had installed windows with bootcamp, but with our hackintoshes, we install windows normally. So if I click "Install from bootcamp" Fusion just tells me that no bootcamp installs were found.

So what is the correct method?
