So in all the guides I see to get iMessage working, setting your internet connection as en0 is apparently important. I've set all the required details (SMBIOS, ROM, MLB) in Clover and it's booting as a MacBook Pro 13", but I'd forgotten to change my WiFi connection to en0 on reboot. Will this cause issues later on?
