Currently on an HP elitebook 8440p with ubuntu 14.04 installed. My roommate owns a mac, so I was able to get a legit copy of el capitan. My question is whether it is possible to dual boot ubuntu and mac with ubuntu already installed? I keep reading things about system configurations that are needed to run osx properly. I initially thought I could just partition my drive on gparted and install mac osx on the other partition but I am assuming you cannot do that without doing some other things first.
