Hello /r/hackintosh,

I installed OSX 10.10.1 using Niresh on my Lenovo ThinkPad T510 4313 CTO yesterday, everything works well except for two somewhat minor issues. I'm using the DSDT (with Clover) from the guide posted below, as well as most of the kexts from the guide (except AppleHDA). I followed the guide closely, however I used Niresh instead of making a bootable image from the command line like suggested in the guide because I don't have access to a Mac.

I'll start with some relevant info: *Hardware details *Guide I've been following *AppleHDA kexts

My first issue is the sound. Niresh came with VoodooHDA preinstalled, which worked, but only with headphones. I removed the VoodooHDA kext and installed the AppleHDA one from the guide. This results in no sound at all. I then tried the AppleHDA kext for CX20585 from my third link with the matching DSDT changes described in the downloads ReadMe, but this didn't work either. I've run OSX on this laptop in the past, and managed to get sound working, so I'm starting to wonder if a kext Niresh installed is conflicting with something.

Second is to do with monitor configuration. I'm using this laptop in a docking station, which has a DisplayPort and a DVI port. The graphics chip only supports two displays at one time, so if you want to use two external displays, the laptop display must be disabled. How would I go about disabling the laptop display so that I can attach a second external monitor? The ports on the docking station are treated like any other I/O, so I can get one of two monitors working at any given time. This laptop does have a key binding to disable the laptop display, but does not work in OSX.

I suspect the sound is an issue with the DSDT file, or a kext Niresh installed is conflicting with something. As far as the monitor configuration goes, I think there is a good chance I'm screwed.

Any help is greatly appreciated. If anyone has any questions or needs any additional info I'm happy to help.
