I'm wondering which is the best SMBIOS profile for a Skylake build?
I've tried the iMac17,1 profile but ran into the black screen issue with the NVIDIA drivers. I tried patching SSDT to rename the GPU to GFX0 but it didn't work. Perhaps it's the EDID AppleGraphicsDevicePolicy.kext applies to the iMac17,1 profile? It appears the only fix is to modify AppleGraphicsDevicePolicy.kext which I'm reluctant to do because I'd rather keep the system kexts vanilla.
So would iMac14,2 or another MacPro profile be an OK choice? Or should I stick with MacPro 3,1?
