Hi all,

Great community here, hope you can help me out! Build Z68A-D3H-B3 (rev 1.0) 2500k and have a HD 6770 which I have removed for installation, so just trying to use the integrated HD3000. I have removed my wifi card and also only used DVI for monitor. Keyboard, mouse and USB stick 64gb are the only connected USB devices (all plugged into non-USB 3.0 ports, but what the motherboard calls 3x power USB)

I'm a true noob at all of it but have been trawling through the forums and google, but unfortunately have hit a block I can't seem to get through / things I'm finding on the internet seem outdated / not understandable. I updated my bios to UEFI (even though it's a 6 series board), and attempted to go through using the UniBeast guide (UEFI, HD3000 injection), but I kept getting panic screens and reboots.

Checked my UEFI:

Booting from UEFI first Other OS UEFI boot mode only AHCI SATA mode XHCI and EHCI enabled Left USB 3.0 enabled (didn't seem to make a difference in my tests?) High Precision Event Timer left enabled Tried different USB ports, this all seemed ok. Tried various boot arguments in Clover but no luck.. Forums said to disable EIST on my MB but that option I believe is only available on rev 1.3 models, not my 1.0. Googled and found that I needed a potential change to my plist / more or different kexts but didn't really understand how to do it, and guides were for old OSX's and clover versions. Somehow worked out that MultiBeast could help me with the plist add the kexts that I might need, and so after installing everything through UniBeast to USB, fired up MultiBeast and went through selecting everything I thought I might have needed and more. Somewhere it said to try a different system definition, so have tried Mac mini 6,2.

Built it and retried it.

I was then able to install it to my SSD with no problems, but upon booting from SSD, my verbose reaches the line: [IOBluetoothFamily][SearchForTransportEventTimeOutHandler] -- Missing Bluetooth Controller Transport! Safe mode completely fails with an 'OsxAptioFixDrv, boot failed' line. Somehow in messing with different settings and boot args, I manage to get to a grey screen with cursor, but gets stuck.

cpus=1 makes no difference as does GraphicsEnabler=Yes or No

Can anyone suggest what else to try, and if something needs to be done by editing kexts / loading clover to EFI, post links to really explain step by step how that's done? Some threads seem to suggest I need to make sure clover is installed into my SSD? But I don't understand how to do that. It seems like following the guides should have made this automatic. I can boot from USB and it takes me to the OSX installation screen where the only thing I can access is Disk Utility, and can't run MultiBeast? My guess is that multibeast installed the kexts I needed to be able to boot from the USB, but I need to get these kexts to install into my SSD installation, but I've no idea how to do this! Sorry I n00b! =(
