I attempted to do a direct upgrade to El Capitan from Yosemite today using tonymacx86's guide (http://ift.tt/1j79w2x). After the first restart I directed Clover to boot from "Install Mac OS X" on my main SSD, as prescribed, but got the block sign after seeing the apple as it was booting. I restarted again for another attempt but now my system will not boot from ANY OSX volumes, not even an installer USB or the Recovery disk. The best I can get it to do is, using "-v kext-dev-mode=1" as boot flags, the last event is "root device uuid is [blah blah blah]" followed by pluses "+++++++++++++++++++++." I've been at this for hours with different boot flags to no avail.
My setup is - ASRock Z97M Pro4 motherboard - i5-4670 CPU - EVGA GeForce GTX 760 GPU
