How to type Tilde on a Hackintosh with your standard PC keyboard?

I'm running an El Capitan build and your average PC keyboard.

And when I press the button which is supposed to give me a tilde i get a § or ±. Googling for solutions gave nothing that works on El Capitan. So maybe someone can help me.
