Using clover here I have a valid serial, made my smUUID, my MLB made using holyfields MLB breakdown and my ROM. (not sure if it's necessary but I'm using MSI PC Mate z97, i7 4790K, nvidia gtx 760 3gb)
Currently, there are about 4 contacts that I can consistently message, even if I restart. With all of my other contacts, I get the red "this person isn't registered with iMessage" prompt.
The weird thing is, if I initiate the conversation on my phone, the hack will update, and see the conversation, and then once the person messages me, my hack will kick in and let me message from the computer.
So currently : Consistent messaging with like 4 people, everyone else is red until they message me, then I can message them. I can continue to message them until I restart my computer, then it starts all over again.
My theories :
Could be something on apple's side, I guess. Maybe I need to be patient and wait for some stuff to update. ::shrug::
When I turn messaging off and on on my iPhone (and sign in and out on my hack) it brings up the prompt on my iPhone : "This iPhone is now connected to a newmac." (emphasis mine) Not sure if that means that a number is changing somewhere, and that potentially it's registering my mackintosh as a new mac every single time.
It's just bugging me, but I can't find if there's a difference between Hardware uuid, and smUUID. Because as of now, my smUUID is different than my Hardware uuid (as noted by iMessage debug) It may be that what clover configurator thinks is my hardware UUID should actually be copied and pasted into the smUUID. I've searched around for the distinction and can't find anything about the difference between those numbers
Anyone else have issues like this? Or have any idea where I should go next?
