So, will my laptop work with El Capitan? I found a thread in tonymacx86.com about installation, but i have some different parts.
Actually, i could install OS X (Yosemite, IIRC) to the laptop but it didn't install the bootloader so i couldn't boot.
Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 4400 and AMD Radeon HD 8500M
CPU: Intel Core i7-4510U
Mobo:
Manufacturer Product SerialNumber Version LENOVO Lancer 5A2 YB06534661 31900059WIN Output Of Command: "wmic baseboard get product,Manufacturer,version,serialnumber"
I can always give more info if needed and if i know how to get the info.
BTW, I have a Windows 10 and a Linux partition. (Both around 400GB) I want to install El Capitan onto the Linux Partition, is that possible? (I have a GPT partition table and a 100MB EFI partition. (I will try to resize it before the installation, through))
And (probably) the easiest question, will OS updates work with a Hackintosh?
