Can I replace the recommended power supply from tonymacx86 by another one?

Hi guys,

first time I'm posting here. I am not super experienced with the whole Hackintosh thing so please bear with me.

I wanted to replace the "550 Watt Corsair CS Series Modular 80+ Gold" with the "550 Watt Corsair VS Series Non-Modular 80+" as it could save me half the price of the expensive one.

This might be a stupid question, but it's just a power supply right? I can just take the non-modular one and be fine, or am I?
