Hello there!

I am typing this from my first successful hackintosh and man it's awesome!

I'm making this post so anyone facing the same problems as I did can fix them :D

So yeah, in terms of my motherboard, no problems really. Just disabled VT-d and voila

The issue was getting to work my XFX R9 390. I looked around forums and nothing worked until I mixed some of the solutions and found a combination that finally worked:

As some of you know, to use a R9 390 on a hackintosh you need to use Clover Configurator to edit your config.plist. This means:

Spoofing the ID on the Devices tab, on the ATI box, to the 390X's ID which is "0x67B01002". Then, on the Graphics tab entering "Radeon" on the FB Name and check Inject ATI. (all w/o quotes)

Well, that should be enough for some 390's, but not the XFX one. So what I did was download the SAPPHIRE vBios from the techPowerUP bios collection site, pasted it on the EFI/CLOVER/ROM folder (having already mounted the EFI, clearly), duplicated it, and named one "1002_67B0.rom" and "1002_67B1.rom" (w/o quotes) (honestly, I don't know which one is the one Clover's picking up and at this point I'm too afraid to find out so you can do that on your own). Finally, I enabled the Load vBios option on Clover Configurator's Device Tab. (You also have to spoof the ID, enter the FB Name and check Inject ATI as with any 390)

Sorry if I didn't make myself clear enough (english is not my main language), so if there's anything you need help, go ahead and ask. In simple terms, the only difference with the XFX version is that you have to load another vBios via Clover. I used SAPPHIRE and it has worked so far.

PS: Be careful with the vBios option, be sure you're using Load vBios. You don't need to flash anything.

Good luck!
