My system specs are as follows: AMD FX 6300 CPU Zotac Nvidia GTX 750 ti GPU Corsair CX600W PSU Gigabyte 78-LMT-USB3 Motherboard
Okay, lets get started
Head over to http://hackintosh.zone , and download the yosemite dmg from their download section.
If you are currently running windows, download Transmac , and restore the DMG to an 8GB or larger USB drive.
If you are currently on a Mac (hackintosh or real mac) , go into disk utility and click on your usb drive, then go to the restore tab. Set the source as the DMG file (double click the DMG file to mount it) , and set the destination as your USB drive.
When the DMG file has successfully been restored to the USB drive, Go into your motherboard settings. Turn AHCI on , and you can leave virtualisation setting how it is, on or off.
Now restart and boot into the installer. you will need the following boot arguements : -v npci=0x2000 nv_disable=1
When you get into the installer, you can enter disk utility and format your HDD as Mac OS Extended (Journaled) .
If you are planning on a dual boot, you should partition the hard drive into 2 , and then go ahead and install windows , and then come back into the macOS installer using the same boot arguments : -v npci=0x2000 nv_disable=1
This is to stop the windows bootloader taking over :D
You can then proceed the install up until you get to choose where to install macOS
Click your hard drive then click customise. Find the SMBios setting, and then select Mac Pro (3,1) Then in the chameleon bootloader settings, turn on npci=0x2000
Then you can go ahead and proceed with the install, leaving all the other options how they are.
Once the install has finished, start the computer with boot argument : -v If the computer stops as DSMOS has arrived, restart the computer and as the boot argument type : -v -s And when you get to the prompt , type grafix backup all
Then restart the computer using -v , and the pc should start into macOS.
Proceed with the setup up until the create a user account screen. Leave the computer idle on that screen for a while and it will end up skipping itself and going to the logon screen. As the username type niresh and as the password type root.
When you are logged in, go and install the NVidia WebDriver from MacVidCards for Yosemite 10.10.1
You must now be using VGA on your computer until we have finished this step. When the driver has installed , go into chameleon configurator and turn off nv_disable=1 , and then turn on nvda_drv=1 . then click save.
Restart the hackintosh with -v boot arg. And if all goes okay , you should have accelerated graphics.
Then you should go and install your WiFi kexts, i dont know what wifi card or usb you are using , so i cant help you with that.
Anyway , this is how i got my hackintosh to work how i want it :D
