I would like to install a copy of Windows 8.1 on a partition on my OS X drive. Since it is formatted in the GUID partition scheme, it will not let me install Windows. I can boot into the Installer view the disks, but when I choose the disk I want to install on, it says this "Windows cannot be installed on this disk. It is partitioned in GPT" (or something like that).
I switched my hard drive type to Native IDE before I booted the installer, also I have a non UEFI board (Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB-3). Does anybody know how I can fix this
