Having beaten my head against this for a while, I can now get the installer to boot to the point that it tells me "Missing Bluetooth Controller Transport! "(pic). From what I've read, this usually means there's a problem with the video card / driver. My card is an AMD 7750-based card with 6 mini-display ports So over the course of several hours & being fairly methodical about, here's where I am (if you want the gory step-by-step details, I can give them to you):
- I have deleted every NVDA, GeForce, and Intel*Graphics kext on the installer
- I have deleted every other AMD/ATI kext & only kept AMD7000Controller, AMDFramebuffer, and AMDSupport kexts
- boot flags: -v npci=0x3000 GraphicsEnabler=Yes AtiConfig=Ikura
And it always hangs in the same place, the last message being the "Missing Bluetooth Controller Transport" message. There's so many of those damn launchd messages that I can't really see if there are any other messages that seem relevant.
Any help would be appreciated
