I'm basically looking for a laptop for university this year and I'm looking at hackintoshing it. Looking at compatibility guides it seems to be somewhat headache free, however I'm wondering if a used one is worth it. They're going for ~$500 CAD (some cheaper) on eBay/Kijiji and want to know if that's a decent price or if it's worth it at all. The most intensive program I use on my computer is ableton.
