Hey all,

I just purchased the components for, what looks to be, one killer hackintosh (the details of my build are in a previous post). Everything looks to be in order in terms of compatibility with only one issue: wireless. It is my understand that without a very specific type of wireless adapter, many services will not work on a hackintosh (like iMessage). I ran short on cash and have just deferred the purchasing of a wireless unit my next paycheck so my build will have no wireless of any kind. My plan is to just use a wired connection until then. My question to you friendly and knowledgable folks out there is: can I run my hackintosh without a wireless adapter? Am I going to experience problems beyond just not being able to access the internet via wifi (and not being able to use anything with bluetooth)? Furthermore, when I do buy a wireless adapter, will I be able to plug the thing in and have it work? If not, is there any particular protocol for adding components or will I have to do a clean reinstall?

I hope at least one of you machine-inclined people out there will have an answer to me query. Carry on and keep hacking!
