So a little back story... I used to have an older (Early 2009 I think) 24" iMac that I loved using and used everyday. Late last year though unfortunately, I went to turn on the iMac one day... nothing.
After consulting multiple sources it sounded like either the video card or motherboard died on me. And that it would cost at least a couple hundred bucks to repair it even with refurbished parts. So I decided that the best course would be to either spend the money to purchase a new Mac of some sort or try to build my own PC.
Well I choose to build my own PC to make it my own and get the parts that I wanted. I mainly wanted this PC to be a FlightSim capable PC as I am a real world Pilot and use a FlightSim to train on and have fun. Having a PC would better suit that need. But after using Windows for the first time in years it just didn't feel the same and I wanted to really have the capability of having a Mac again.
In comes the Hackintosh.
After doing some research, I discovered that my PC should be compatible with the capability of being a CusToMac. Thanks to all the guides here and on TonyMacX86 I was able to fumble through it and finally get a working Hackintosh along side my working Windows 10. It took me a couple tries to get the Sound and Internet to work.
But I finally got it!
So I now have two independent SSDs in my tower, one for Windows 10 and the other for Mac OS X. I plan on adding another 2TB drive for storage for the Mac side.
