I've recently tried to install OS X on a Shuttle XPC nano with the above CPU, and got it to install and boot with minor tweaking (for those trying to do the same: I use Clover in UEFI mode, I add -xcpm to the boot parameters, and overwrite the CPUID with 0x306a0 in the binary patching menu).
After running Multibeast and installing clover on my hard disk, and making sure the same options are enabled as outline above, my system boots fine but Ethernet is no longer working.
Currently I'm facing the following issues:
- My HD Graphics (Broadwell generation, PCI ID 8086:1602) are not working well: no acceleration and frequent artifacts on screen. I've tried a couple of PCI ProductID overrides, but nothing worked so far. Does anyone know how I could get this iGPU to work with Clover?
- I don't know why Ethernet worked out of the box first boot and then stopped working. The device in question is an Intel Corporation Ethernet Connection I218-LM (I think PCI ID 8086:155a). I'd like to get this working again.
- Wireless never worked at all, and is a Realtek RTL8821AE 802.11ac PCIe adapter. Could this be made to work?
On the plus side: SATA and USB works out of the box. I haven't verified if USB3 devices or audio work yet.
