I just built my first computer (parts list here, but no hard drives (only the solid state drive) or graphics card yet) and I am trying to install El Capitan using this guide. However, when I inserted my USB into the USB 2.0 slot on my computer, the OS does not load.
Clover boots, recognizes the USB as having OS X on it, and I see the Apple logo with an empty loading bar below it. The loading bar never progresses (I have waited upwards of 10 minutes) and nothing else appears on the screen. Does anyone have any ideas of what I might have done wrong and how to fix it?
