Hello,
so I have an existing dual-boot system with Win10 & ArchLinux. I created an empty partition with 50GB for my hackintosh installation, but after launching the installer i cannot format it to HFS+.
The Disk Utility tells me, that there is not enough space to enable journaling. What should I do? Do I need to create an additional small partition for journaling stuff?
My partitioning currently looks like this: 100MB EFI ~150MB Windows system something 100GB Windows 50GB free (for hackintosh) 50GB linux root 50GB linux /home
The error (translated) is: The Volume "xy" is not journaled, therefore its size can't be changed. To activate journaling, cancel the partitioning and use "activate journaling" in the menu "x" (no idea).
When I cancel the partition and click on the drive, then "activate journaling" is disabled. Is it possible to install hackintosh without messing up windows or linux?
