I understand that the MAC OS X retail disks are not bootable on a PC alone so you need a bootloader in order to boot them, unfortunately I can't find one. The bootloader that many hackintoshes use for booting the retail disks is chameleon the last time I tried to do something like this. They have an iso on their website, and I also have iboot which was only successful in snow leopard which was a long time ago. Now I want to get back into doing the hackintosh again assuming that the machine requirements are a little easier to come by when it comes to the newer versions of OS X (I want to know that if a hackintosh with yosemite will work on my machine). My machine specs are factory except for the video card which I am unable to tell what it is since I am not at my machine at the moment.
DELL XPS Studio 8100

I see that chameleon has an iso disk but it's the 2.1 version which I am unsure is going to work with yosemite, but the newest version doesn't have an iso image for it so if the older version doesn't work, I won't have a way to boot the retail dvd.
Much help to those that respond.
