Hey guys,
Picked up a Lenovo T460s with the following specs: Core i5-6200u HD 520 8GB RAM 256GB LiteOn SSD (M.2, SATA Controller) 1920x1080 (with touch support)
I've tried installing El Capitan without any success. I'm able to format the drive, begin the installer to the target drive and get to the very end (where it says "one second remaining"). After about 5 or so minutes, I'm presented with the error "An error occurred while preparing the installation. Try running this application again."
I've tried both a 16gb USB 2.0 drive and a 32GB USB 3.0 drive - both give me the same error. I even tried installing via a USB 2.0 hub (since all 3 USB ports on this laptop are USB 3.0 type A).
Any ideas or suggestions? At this point, I'm out of ideas.
