Hello,
I plan on building a Hackintosh. I want to dual boot into Windows 10 for gaming.
I plan on following Lifehacker's guide to building a hackintosh followed by Corpnewt's guide to dual-boot Windows and OS X.
My hardware is as follows:
* Intel Core i5-2500K Sandy Bridge Quad-Core 3.3GHz
* ASUS P8P67 LE (REV 3.0)
* PowerColor PCS+ Radeon R9 390
* SAMSUNG 850 PRO 2.5" 1TB SSD
* SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ 1TB 7200 RPM HDD
Currently, both the SSD and the HDD have Windows 10 installed and are formatted using NTFS. After I back up the data, I want to wipe the drives and install OS X as the primary boot on the HDD, and Windows 10 on the SSD. How should I go about preparing the hard drives? What should I format them to? Ideally, I'd want to have both OS X and Windows 10 running on the same SSD for faster boot times, but I read that it's recommended to use separated drives and since I only have one SSD at the moment, I want it to go to the OS where I'll be doing my gaming. Essentially, I want to have a clean slate so I have no issues during installation so your advice is much appreciated.
