Hey guys,
now that I have my Hackintosh running almost perfectly, I wanted to suggest a build for my mom. She will then decide if she wants to upgrade her current iMac or go with a Hackintosh. Size-wise she is fairly restricted. She has a small desk and I wanted to go either with a small form factor like the mac mini or go with a mini tower. I wouldn't want to go bigger than that.
My mom is a fairly light user I would say. I want the system to be snappy and quick but for light use. Her computer usage is mostly browsing, checking e-mails, ordering on amazon and writing in Office or any text-base tasks like that. Thus I would pass on the dedicated video card. Dual Booting with Windows is nice to have but not necessary. I was thinking about a budget around 400-500€ w/o screen, keyboard, mouse and OS.
If you have any suggestions or you have a similar budget build that definitely works hackintoshed, feel free to tell me.
