I recently upgraded my build to dual E5-2670 on a Gigabyte GA-7PESH-2 board. I decided to try to hackintosh it for the time being (while I wait for more parts to arrive), and if it is relatively stable, keep it that way. I was able to install Mavericks with Unibeast, however running Multibeast with any options would cause the install to be unbootable (boots to a black screen, even with -x). I decided to try El Capitan with Unibeast (as that's what I had used with my old build), but the boot hangs at Still Waiting For Root Device and the prohibited sign. Booting in safe mode gives Error loading kernel cache (0xe). Booting without caches results in the same problem (Still Waiting For Root Device). I've tried booting with cpus=1 and dart=0, neither of which made a difference. SATA is set to AHCI in BIOS, and the serial port is disabled (I read that it may cause problems).

Specs:

2x Intel E5-2670

GA-7PESH-2

Nvidia Quadro FX 580

I would like to also note that the same error occurred with one cpu disabled in the BIOs, and with only one cpu installed.
