Well, I'm fairly new to the Hackintosh community, but I got things working on a Lenovo Y580 recently. I just got my new Acer Aspire R7, and am loving it, but I want to attempt to Hackintosh it. I have seen zero online about this model so far, but I did manage to get the OSX installer to boot at last with the download from Olarila. It started to rainbow wheel and wouldn't move, but a safe boot flag fixed that. Of course, though, the trackpad isn't working, so I can't click or move anywhere to install, and don't currently have a USB mouse. Anyone have any ideas on what I could do to get the trackpad working? I know my chances of getting the touchscreen working are pretty much zero, but I'd like to get it installed and see what all I need to fix.
