I have had Mavericks working nicely for a few weeks now with no problems, the sleep was working fine as well. I have just bought a new apple keyboard and it works as expected, however when my computer goes to sleep the keyboard stops working upon waking and I have to restart the computer because I can't type in my password. It is plugged into the same USB port that my old keyboard was plugged into and that worked fine. Does anybody know what the problem could be?
