I'm wanting to turn my backup computer into a hackintosh, but the only problem is I don't have a mac with me.The only mac I own is a very old one with one of the old Motorola CPUs and It is about 4hours away at my dad's house.
However, my apartment has some new iMacs with 24/7 access. I have a 8gb flashkey to install the unibeast. Today I searched for mavericks on the app store, and I didn't see a way to just download it. The only thing I could find is to install app.
I'm not really well versed with macs, is it possible for me to just download the operating system without installing it?
I'm trying to follow the guide http://www.tonymacx86.com/374-unibeast-install-os-x-mavericks-any-supported-intel-based-pc.html
It reads like you can actually do this, but I'm sure how. Can any of you mac-experts offer some advice? I don't want to install the new OS on the public computers because that might get me into some trouble.
