I have an Acer Aspire S3-391 (i3-3227U Ivy-Bridge) and sadly my wifi card is soldered to the board so I can't swap it out. I bought an Edimax EW-7811Un usb wifi dongle, and it works fine with the "Wireless Connection Utility".
My only problem is that my university requires wifi username and password (not just password).
Can anyone point me to (A) a way to get the wireless utility to allow me to enter user/pass combo, (B) a usb dongle that might be more natively recognized, and/or (C) an alternative to the wireless utility that might help solve the problem.
Any info or pointers would be appreciated!
