Seagate Baracudda 1TB 7200RPM (Windows boot).
WD Caviar Green 1TB 7200RPM (Storage - torrents, backups).
•What I need to get:
An additional storage drive.
A mouse.
Options :
A) G400S - $58
B) Barracuda 1TB 7200RPM - $69
C) SAMSUNG EVO 120gb - $109
D) Evo 250gb - $189
•Combinations possible:
A+B+C = $237
A+D = $247
a+b+d = $317 = over budget.
So out of abc and ad, which would be recommended? I am only going to run OSX off the new drives for the time being and will mainly use it for programming and maybe videos, photo editing and such.
Basically the question is: should I get a 250GB SSD or a 120GB SSD and a 1tb HDD?
What am I missing? Is it really as easy as the steps outlined above? Please comment to help me do this right guys! ...source
