So as of now I have a pretty nice custom pc. (i7 4770k, 16gb ram, geforce gtx 660 etc...) Before this I was a mac user..the mac wasn't powerful enough so instead of buying a $2500+ mac pro i made a $1250 pc. I'm happy with it but i do more of photo/video editing AND I do not do much gaming so i would like to put OSX Mavericks on it. So my question. Can I get a new hard drive designated for the Mac, and then take my existing hard drive in my PC now and make that drive designated for windows 8. I know i would have to use boot camp but will it let me take the existing drive in my pc and dual boot it off of that? thank you.
