I have both a Samsung 840 Pro (256GB) and a WD Green (1TB) on my desktop, but they've already been setup with Windows 8.1...
When I tried setting up the format for Mavericks, it found the free space of 64GB partition I made under Disk Manager in Windows under the SSD, but would give an error when I tried to erase it into MacOSX Journaled.
Would I need a whole new drive to do this, or am I missing a small step here so I don't have to erase/re-partition my drives since I am already set up with Win...?
Would someone kindly give me some steps as to partitioning my drives to keep my current Windows files, but make the allocated space for OSX?
