Not much more to say than the title, but basically I put together a Hackintosh by the book, but chose to install Windows 7 on a drive before I got around to my OSX install. OSX works great, but now there is some sort of "hardware error" and I can't boot from it.
That wouldn't be such a big deal, but the kicker is that when I connected it to another Windows machine to at least back up the contents (mostly Steam games), it appeared to be blank except for a 100MB System Reserved partition.
Is there any way to recover that data? I'm fine with a fresh install of W7 but that would suck if I lost whatever was on there just because I installed separate operating systems in the wrong order... Any help greatly appreciated.
