Build

  • ASRock Z77 Extreme 4-m

  • Intel Core i7 3770K

  • Nvidia Geforce GTX 780

  • Corsair Vengeance Pro 1866MHz

  • Corsair H100i CPU Cooler

  • Corsair RM650 PSU

  • 2x SanDisk Ultra Plus 128GB SSD (Mavericks 10.9 & Windows 8.1)

  • 2x Seagate Barracuda 2TB HDD (NTFS Formatted)

  • 2x 1080p Monitors (Connected by DisplayPort & HDMI)

I updated my motherboard to version 1.80. I have both HDDs and the Windows SSD disconnected when doing anything Hackintosh related (Until I get it working). I have found lots of stuff regarding ASRock Z77 Extreme 4, however not much on the 'm' (Mini ATX) version. Are they treated the same?

Installation

I performed a clean installation of Mavericks on the SSD. Booting for the first time wouldn't work, I got stuck here in verbose mode. So I ran it in safe mode using -x, it booted fine.

Initially, problems I noticed included: * No Internet * No Audio * Screen tearing, slow windows opening

I first installed a network kext with KextBeast. This kext was for the Extreme4 so I assume it works with the Extreme4-m too. After a restart and using the -x boot flag my internet worked great!

Then I ran MultiBeast and used these settings. I ran it in verbose mode and got stuck here this time. Running it in safe mode (-x) gets me the same error.

I'm not too sure what to do from here or what I did wrong in Multibeast or somewhere else. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
