I couldn't find any info about it through Google, so I though I'd ask here.
On release, Mavericks had a bug with nVidia Kepler cards that caused GPU and GPU memory clocks to be stuck at maximum clock rate until reboot every time an application using OpenCL was used. For example, it happened every time I viewed an image, used VLC, or ran Transmission (though why a torrent client would cause this, I have no idea).
This, in turn, caused higher power consumption, higher temperatures, and most importantly - it made my graphics card's fan run at higher speeds, which in simpler terms means that it made my computer loud as hell. So I had to return to Windows.
Has this bug been fixed in some way since then, or is there a patch or a fix available?
