So recently I found out the hard drive on my Mac is knackered and I need to replace it. I went to the Apple store and they said it would cost £82 for a new 500Gb hard drive for it (this excludes installment which I can do myself). Since it's Apple I figured this might be overpriced, therefore I was wondering if I could get a cheaper hard drive that fits my Mac but still has a good amount of storage space. If so does anybody have the specs I should be looking for?
